"We are proud to be associated with an event of such global magnitude," says John Passalacqua, ExpoWorld.net founder and principal. "If Avatars '98 proves successful, virtual 3D worlds immediately take their place as a new model for industry aggregation on a global scale. Event industry professionals cannot afford to ignore this fundamental paradigm shift in the way conferences, tradeshows and exhibitions will be staged in the future."
"ExpoWorld.net sponsorship of Avatars '98 bodes of the high profile that has come to be associated with the Contact Consortium and Avatars '98," says Bruce Damer, Contact Consortium Co-Director and Conference Chair. "ExpoWorld.net aggregates the Internet's top event search tools and represents the world's global event producing community online.
